Our Leadership

Our leadership comes with extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of sustainable development initiatives globally. Their cumulative experience covers the broad spectrum of the social and development sphere, sustainability and climate change issues, and ethical business imperatives. They are further supported by a select team of professionals with expertise in different aspects of sustainable development, such as strategic management, social research, need and impact assessments, EHS and social regulations, resource conservation, supply chain dynamics, etc., thereby, creating a win-win solution for the triple bottom line of business.

Parul Soni

Global Managing Partner 

Parul is the Founder and Global Managing Partner for TTC. With over 22 years of experience, he has been instrumental in providing strategic leadership to large development programs at country and regional levels with international and national organizations.

He has driven major programs in areas of cross-sectoral partnerships and institutional networks, inclusive community participation, social accountability, and social justice, using his rich and extensive experience in Social Development and CSR. His contribution to the cause of enhancing and enriching the quality of key human development indicators such as child rights and gender equality has been anchored in the core principles of sustainable development strategies and programmes undertaken by him.

Throughout his career, he has been an ardent advocate of women’s rights and has undertaken seminal work in re-scripting the narrative on women’s empowerment through various initiatives. As a member of the Global Advisory Board of WeConnect International, he actively encouraged and supported women entrepreneurs by connecting them to market opportunities. One of his most significant achievements was to bring 109 women’s business associations under one platform of Think Big Asia.

Parul values the role of the government as a major stakeholder in the development process and has successfully created sustainable tri-stakeholder partnerships and networks, with the government, private sector and not-for-profit organisations, collaborating together to achieve common goals.

Parul is on board of many reputed national and global organisations. As an Advisor and Promoter Director in India for The Asian Venture Philanthropy Network (AVPN), he has a key contribution in building the ecosystem for philanthropists and social investors within the country. As a Founding Board Member of Save the Children-Bal Raksha, the Indian Evolution of Save the Children International Network, he has made substantive contributions in the sector of child development and rights. He is also a Board Member of SafeLIFE Foundation and a Senior Advisor on the Advisory Board of Biz Divas, a CSR initiative by Altavis Private Limited.

He was previously a Partner and the Global Co-leader for The not-for-profit organisation at Ernst & Young India LLP (EY) and during his career he lent his expertise and leadership to various organizations and associations in India and across the Globe.

Parul is a Doctoral Fellow from the Department of Commerce, University of Rajasthan.

Dipankar Ghosh

Partner and Leader for Sustainability & Climate Change 

Dipankar is Partner and Leader for Sustainability & Climate Change. He is a seasoned sustainability professional, has over 34 years of multi-disciplinary and multi-sectoral experience in the domains of environmental services, sustainability and human development, climate change, carbon markets, environment, health and safety (EHS), resource efficiency, sustainable technology and renewable energy. One of the key areas of his work has been managing sustainability and climate change risks and leveraging opportunities in changing times.

Dipankar has led large projects, in India as well as Internationally, which consisted of a multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural team from the consultant’s end, as well as diverse stakeholders from client’s end.

He has worked closely with diverse industry sectors, such as oil & gas, power utility, automotive, iron and steel, biofuel, transportation, construction, communication, etc., and also Government and Multi-lateral Funded Institutions.

Previously, he was a Partner at EY, leading the Climate Change and Sustainability services of Ernst & Young India LLP (EY) in Northern Region of India. He was also part of the advisory team responsible for developing the Climate Change & Sustainability Services in India. Later, he served as the Leader of EY’s sustainability services in the MENA region, strategizing the growth of the practice in the region.

Dipankar is a B.E. and M.Tech in Chemical Engineering and a Chartered Engineer from the Institute of Engineers India. He also has a Diploma in Sustainability from the Maastricht School of Management, and participated in Leadership Development Programme at Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.

Vijay Ganapathy

Partner and Leader for M&E and Impact Assessment 

Vijay is Partner and Leader for M&E and Impact Assessment. He has 20 years of experience in thematic areas like Child Rights, Natural management, Micro-finance, Livelihood, Corporate and Skill Development. He Led the M&E and CSR consulting divisions in Ernst & Young India LLP (EY) & KPMG, supporting corporates in developing scalable and sustainable CSR strategies & programmes.

Vijay holds Robust Grassroots experience of managing development programs and was also involved in developing monitoring and evaluations systems involving both financial and programmatic components.

He has authored a book on the study of KAP of the leprosy affected Gond Tribal's of Madhya Pradesh and published papers on a diverse range of topics including CSR, Inter-Cultural Communication Competence, Informal Labour, etc.

He was previously a Senior Manager at EY, responsible for driving the CSR and Social Development Consulting vertical. He’s also the Managing Trustee of ARANYA, a social organization providing shelter to girl child belonging to de-notified tribes.

Vijay is a Fellow from Indian Institute of Management, Kolkata and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Forest Management from the Indian Institute of Forest Management, Bhopal.

Ajay Pandey

Partner and Leader for CSR, Strategy and Performance Improvement 

Ajay leads the CSR, Strategy and Performance Improvement function at TTC. He has vast experience in driving strategy and streamlining operations across domains including natural resource management, sustainable livelihoods, skill development, social entrepreneurship, organisation transformation and capacity building. With over 19 years of experience in sustainable development and corporate responsibility, Ajay has been working with a wide range of multilateral, government, corporate clients and not-for-profit entities across the Middle East and South Asia to deliver action-oriented, enduring and replicable results.

He holds a unique blend of expertise in working with grassroots organisations, donor organisations and development sector consulting firms. He’s a Seasoned professional with a hands-on approach to working with clients on the social impact of operations, stakeholder engagement, and sustainability. 

He Previously worked with Ernst & Young LLP (EY) and was instrumental in developing and leading customized solutions for development advisory. 

Ajay is a Post Graduate in Rural Development from XISS, Ranchi.

Amit Phull

Partner and Leader for Governance & Risk Advisory 

Amit is Partner and Leader for Governance & Risk Advisory at TTC. He has more than 19 years of experience in financial management with a focus on the development sector supported by various international donor agencies, Government and Corporate Foundations.

He’s a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India with extensive experience in setting up new organizations, governance structure, budgeting, compliances, financial reporting, procurement processes and systems. He also holds experience in finance strategy, auditing and compliance, financial process development, procurement and bid process management, and development of standard operating procedures.

He’s involved in undertaking numerous Procurement Audits/Reviews, development of guidelines and manuals on the procurement procedure and practices.

In addition, Amit has conducted several workshops and training programmes on procurement, financial management and control, inventory management, budgeting, taxation, audit and accounting. Seasoned Chartered Accountant with exceptional skills on Project Appraisal, Financial Modelling, System Designing (audit & accounting), Taxation. 

He was previously a Senior Manager at Ernst & Young LLP (EY). Prior to which, he was an Associate Vice President at Grant Thornton.

Amit is a Chartered Accountant, ICAI, and has a Diploma in Financial Management from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies.

Rajiv Nagpal

Partner and Leader for Research & Documentation 

Rajiv is Partner and Leader for Research & Documentation.
He specialises in strategic planning, policy development, project management, capacity building, social research, impact assessment, monitoring and evaluation, and market landscaping. Rajiv has worked extensively in the development sector on education, child protection, community health, WASH and social protection.

In his career spanning over 25 years, Rajiv has worked with International and National NGOs, bilateral organizations, UN agencies, government departments, corporates, etc. to deliver sustainable solutions through stakeholder engagement and community participation. He is extremely rooted and carries a profound understanding of social development, which he has leveraged beautifully in the social sector consulting arena.
He has also managed finance & admin and IT related assignments at the senior level in the social development initiatives.

Prior to TTC, Rajiv worked with Plan International, Save the Children (India, Finland, and the UK) and Rajiv Gandhi Foundation, where he led Child Rights programs across multiple levels.

Rajiv is a Post Graduate from Meerut University.

Komal Malhotra

Partner and Leader for HR Advisory 

Komal is Partner and Leader for HR Advisory. She has over 20 years of experience in Human Resource Consulting with a focus on the HR system development and has successfully led and executed recruitment assignments from middle to CXO levels across various functions for both multinational corporates as well as I-NGOs and has also conducted workshops on psychosocial issues. She has also conducted HR evaluations, HR Policy Benchmarking Surveys and specialises in Trainings on Prevention of Sexual Harassment at Workplace.

Having worked for both Profit and Not-For-Profit organizations, she brings cross-learning between both sectors which helps in successfully executing recruitment assignments from the middle to senior levels across various functions. She has also led training as mandated by Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013.
Komal’s qualifications along with her in-depth experience in dealing with a diverse range of populations among the corporate and development sector gives her an edge over others in the field.

Previously, she was running her own HR Consultancy, Scope International, catering exclusively to the not-for-profit organizations. She has also worked with GE Capital International Services and Omam Consultants.
Komal has a Masters in Counselling Psychology and PGD in Personnel Management from IMT Ghaziabad, besides a PGDBM in Marketing

Devashish Banerji

Partner for Health Supply Chain & Procurement 

Devashish has over 22 years of experience in providing consulting services in addition to his experience of 12 years in the Automobile/Engineering Industry. His key areas of expertise have been the programme management of multi-stakeholder large projects, fund management, programme design and review, institutional assessment, strategic business planning and institutional development, capacity building and training.

As the Country Head in Crown Agents and Principal Consultant in PwC, he has managed multiple projects in the Government/Development Sector. He has been involved in projects, in the Health and Family Planning, Urban and Industrial Infrastructure and Social Development, funded by WB, ADB, DFID, USAID and UN agencies.

His responsibilities in all these projects include Stakeholder Relationship Management, Delivery Management and Quality Assurance. Over and above he has significant experience of leading teams comprising multi-disciplinary professionals internationally.

Prior to joining TTC, he has led many assignments and recently he completed the highly successful DFID funded Joint Donor Technical Assistance Fund (JDTAF) programme in MOHFW Bangladesh as the Team Leader.

Devashish is a Post Graduate Mechanical Engineer from IIT Kanpur.

The healthcare sector in India has challenges across its value chain, and at TTC we have experts with functional experience and scientific expertise in this sector and who can deliver insights and solutions to critical stakeholders such as the government, not-for-profits, companies and donor agencies.”

Indra Guha

Partner for Sustainability & Climate Change 

Indra is Partner for Sustainability & Climate Change. He has more than 22 years of experience in the domain of sustainability, EHS and climate change. 

He has worked extensively in advisory and implementation of sustainability and climate change strategy, building roadmaps with targets aligned to business goals, indexing sustainability performance and impact assessment, sustainable sourcing, sustainability reporting, and assurance, carbon footprint mapping/GHG accounting, monitoring and verification, due-diligence, carbon transaction, risk mapping, low carbon transformation. He is an expert in EHS studies involving compliance management, due diligence, risk assessments, policy framing, and review of governance structure. 

Indra has worked across diverse industry sectors, such as metal and mining, oil & gas, chemical, pharma, power utility, automotive, fertilizer, etc. He has also worked extensively with the government, funding agencies like ClimateWorks/Shakti Foundation, DFID, GIZ and with NGOs like WWF on climate policy related assignments.

Before TTC, Indra spent a major part of his professional a career with Ernst & Young LLP (EY) for 14 years where he led the north team as Executive Director prior to his stint with Jubilant as Chief Sustainability Officer.

Indra is a graduate in Civil Engineering from BE College, with a masters from IIT Kharagpur and has completed Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management from IIM Kolkata.

Rajan Bahadur

Partner for Advisory Services 

Rajan is a strong leader and mentor with over 30 years of experience across Social and Corporate Sectors. He is a highly motivated individual accompanied with sharp business acumen, people leadership skills and an ability to build high performance teams. A post graduate in business management from Calcutta University and a graduate from St Stephen’s College, New Delhi, he has an excellent understanding of business development, marketing, new service/product development, Finance, Legal & other business activities that help to ensure there is a linkage with the overall strategy and vision.

During his expanse career, he has developed strategies and policies - conceptualized, managed and supervised intensive programmes.

He has also mentored and managed large cross cultural teams across national and global platforms covering a wide range of senior positions in general management, sales, marketing, hospitality, travel & tourism and financial services. He has interacted closely with a spectrum of bilateral donors, UN partners, print and electronic media, NGOs, Corporate and the Government institutions. He has successfully set up Greenfield projects and gained market knowledge, acquired negotiation skills and nurtured relationships across diverse sectors and industries. His strong analytical skills and ability to adapt to diverse situations has helped him in executing successful business and operational strategies with complex distribution channels. He has a good knowledge of South Asia and Far East markets and their culture.

Prior to TTC, he served as the MD & CEO for CARE India – a not for profit organization.

Dhrubaa Ghosh

Senior Advisor for Health Advisory 

Dhrubaa specializes in public health issues with more than 25 years of research experience - both nationally and internationally - especially in the field of infectious diseases (molecular epidemiology & pathogenesis) and molecular diagnostics, and was a recipient of several International awards for her research work and publications.

As a scientist, she has worked on a wide range of diseases from malaria to various viral outbreaks (encephalitis, hepatitis, HIV/TB, dengue and Viral Diarrhoea) at the national level. She also developed diagnostic strategies on high-throughput platforms with her International collaborators for the detection of bacterial and viral infections.

Prior to joining TTC, Dhrubaa was a Senior Scientist at the International Centre for Genetic engineering & Biotechnology (a UN facility), and led the pathogen detection and discovery team. She was also a faculty and Head of the Department at the core facility at the National Institute of Virology, Pune, MoHFW, Govt of India.

“Health plays a cross-cutting role across the three elements of sustainable development which are economic, social and environmental. The disease burden, for both communicable and non-communicable diseases, still remains high in countries like India. Adequate attention is required towards healthcare and poverty alleviation, which would address the issues of malnutrition; health risks and determinants beyond communicable diseases; impact of strategies, policies and practices on health. An in depth understanding of the public health issues allows us to think through on innovative approaches and solutions.”

Gaurav Bhargava

Senior Vice President for Advisory Services 

Gaurav is Senior Vice President in Advisory Services. He has more than 14 years of experience in designing, deploying, monitoring and evaluating social sector initiatives in the domains of public health, gender, education, child and adolescent rights and livelihood. Through his work, Gaurav has enabled UN agencies, international financial intuitions and corporate foundations in realizing the objectives of their program operations. His works ranges from supporting micro-pilots to structuring and assessing the institution’s long term strategy and country partnership frameworks.

Having worked across more than 20 countries, covering conflict affected areas, he has delivered on sensitive engagements centered on aspects such as violence against women in South Asia, Middle East & North Africa and South East Asia, human trafficking in India, women’s economic empowerment in Afghanistan, HIV/AIDS in Bangladesh and India, multiple vulnerable groups in Bhutan, child rights in Cambodia and adolescent health in India.

He was previously a Senior Manager in Ernst & Young LLP (EY), responsible for managing projects with UN agencies and international financial intuitions.

Gaurav holds Post Graduate in Public Health from Indian Institute of Health Management and Research, Jaipur. 

"Social research has three distinct facets to it. ‘Research for a Program’ that can critically inform the design of an initiative; ‘Research on a Program’ that analyzes an initiative’s performance and provides necessary course correction and/or inputs for future endeavors; and ‘Research as a Program’ where the research piece is an initiative directed at identifying new approaches to policy formulation and program design and implementation. At TTC, we understand these facets to social research and are geared up to strategically align our advisory to the clients’ needs."

Shantanu Srivastava

National Business Development Leader 

Shantanu is an experienced business management professional with over twenty years of experience in business development, management consultancy, branding, strategic planning, project management, capacity building, entrepreneurship, & fundraising.

He has a strong track record of engagement and extensive domain expertise in telecom, financial services, Not-for-profits, waste management and, Greenfield solutions. He has been instrumental in providing breakthrough leadership to achieve corporate strategies, build a coalition to support business growth and implement and manage change to drive organizational performance.

Shantanu holds an MBA in Marketing Management, Post-Graduation in Journalism and Mass Communication and an Honours Diploma in Systems Management. He is an advisor to a number of domestic and overseas companies and is a visiting faculty at a couple of premier business schools.

Foyzul Bari Himel

Resident Coordinator for Bangladesh 

Himel is a sustainable development enthusiast, a strategic planner and a systems thinker. He has got more than twelve years of experience in delivering consultancy to government, development agencies and private sector entities in Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka. His areas of interest include health system strengthening, entrepreneurship development, value chain enhancement and making market work for poor. His clients include DFID, USAID, SDC, WFP and World Bank. He was the consultant for Planning Wing of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare in Bangladesh and was involved in the development of Government of Bangladesh’s fourth five year Health, Nutrition and Population Sector Program. He is also a development training master trainer for government planning cadre officials in Bangladesh. 

Himel has got his Masters in Business Administration degree from University of Dhaka and Bachelor in Industrial and Production Engineering from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Sylhet.
