FICCI’s India Sustainability Conclave has been an annual platform focusing on corporate sustainability and the drivers to keep sustainability high on the corporate agenda. The conclave aims to help businesses find solutions to address the challenge of embedding sustainability in their day-to-day operations. This year’s Conclave focused on Trends in corporate sustainability in India and Globally; Reporting framework in sustainability; Supply chain sustainability; Sustainability governance; Skilling for sustainability, Linking Sustainability to Companies’ Financial Decision making. The event was also a platform for launching the joint FICCI-TTC Thought Leadership titled “Sustainable Development Goals- Linkages with corporate actions in India”. The document was jointly released by Rita Roy Choudhury, Assistant Secretary General FICCI and Dipankar Ghosh, Partner TTC inj the presence of guests such as Mr. C.K. Mishra, Secretary MoEFCC, Government of India, Mr. Yuri Afanasiev, UN Resident Coordinator and UNDP Resident Representative in India, Mr. Mukund Rajan, Chairman Tata Sustainability Global Council, Chief Ethics Offcier, Tata Sons and Head-International Operations, Tata Sons and Mr. Dilip Chenoy, Director general, FICCI and former MD and CEO of the National Skill Development Council (NSDC). Dipankar Ghosh also chaired a plenary session titled “Reporting Framework in Sustainability: An Evolutionary Process” where the session speakers included senior executives from organizations such as GAIL, Jubilant Life Sciences, Yes Bank, Shree Cements Ltd. and KPMG
