Walmart launched WEDP 2017 with an aim to build capacity of Women-Owned Businesses (WOBs) in Andhra Pradesh, Delhi/NCR, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Telangana and Uttar Pradesh regions and equip them with professional and personal skills to build robust businesses and become industry-ready.

On 23rd April, 2018; 61 women were graduated at T-hub, IIIT Campus, Hyderabad with much fan fare.
